How to Reset a Netgear Modem
If you’re having issues connecting with the Internet, you may need to reset your Netgear modem. Web association issues can emerge from an assortment of issues including IP address clashes and system secret key issues. Resetting the Netgear modem will reestablish it to the manufacturing plant default settings and may resolve any contentions that you are having.
Stage 1
Find the reset catch on the backboard of the modem. It should state “Reset” in little lettering close to the catch.
Stage 2
Press down on the reset catch and hold it for around 10 seconds.
Stage 3
Discharge the reset catch when the “Power LED” light turns red.
Stage 4
Trust that the switch will reboot and attempt your Internet association once more.
